Vaping has undeniably become a trend among cannabis users in the last five years. Despite the significant advancements in design that have occurred in the vape pen market, there are still several common areas of confusion in the purchasing experience. Users are faced with a dilemma when choosing between cartridges, pods, or disposable pens: which option best allows for convenience without sacrificing quality or cost-effectiveness?
CART:
The vape cart is a glass cartridge that comes pre-filled with 1-2ml of cannabis oil. The part is a one-time use component designed to be used with a reusable 510-thread vape pen or battery. Though there are numerous cartridge and vape pen designs, cylinder designs resembling cigarettes are the most common.
How should the cartridge be used? Users insert the 510 cart into the pen, press the power button to activate the atomizer within the cartridge, which heats up the cannabis oil, and then inhale. When the oil in the cartridge runs out, users can dispose of it and replace it with a new one.
POD SYSTEM:
The pod system is a complete design comprised of two major components. The oil and ceramic heating element that serves as the combustion core of any vape are contained in the detachable cartridge. The cartridge is connected to a rechargeable battery, which can be charged using a standard charger. In most cases, the components are magnetically joined together in current. A pod system’s design is typically compact, slick, and flat, similar to a USB stick, with a similar level of portability.
How do you use a vape pod device? To use a pod system, users insert the pre-filled cannabis oil pod heads into the vape pen, press the button to activate the atomizer (or, in some systems, simply start inhaling), and inhale the vaporized oil. When the oil in the cartridge runs out, users throw away the pod head and replace it with a new one.
DISPOSABLE:
The disposable pen is a compact all-in-one device that includes a vape cartridge and a 510 vape battery. Its functionality is similar to that of the pod system, but it frequently lacks a power button. Instead, the activation method is usually breath actuation. The disposable vape can be flat, like a USB, or cylinder-shaped, like a regular pen. Some disposable vape pens, such as CILICON’s disposable vape pens, include the V-shapeTM oil tank, which allows for the consumption of every drop of cannabis extract while minimizing waste.
Some pens can be easily activated with a twist-and-turn child-resistant lock, and designs have become more elegant and fashionable. Aside from a variety of designs, disposable pens are classified as non-rechargeable or rechargeable. Though both products are discarded when they reach the end of their useful life, rechargeable pens often have more robust Temperature Control Technology (TCT) that prevents oil overburn and clogging, resulting in a more seamless user experience.
For a one-time purchase, disposable vape pens are generally less expensive than cartridge and pod systems. People must, however, dispose of it once it has been used. If you are a frequent connoisseur, disposable pens may not be the best option because the regular purchase of disposable pens may be more expensive than either the cartridge or pod system, even though both types require cartridge replacement.
