The Smoant Pasito has a huge advantage over most other pod mods in that it has the option of a rebuildable coil system. That’s right – this requires an easy push-on stock spool, and you can buy a rebuildable spool. Another device that offers this functionality is the Vapefly Jester, and I’m sure we’ll see more kits shortly.

The fact that the coil cannot be rebuilt with the pod mod keeps more experienced vapers away from these devices. The thought of throwing away the case and coil makes some people cringe. The device has a 1100mAh battery in the body, 10-25W output in 5 levels, self-adjustable for mouth-to-lung (MTL) e-cigarettes, and high-nicotine e-liquids /Nick Salts Level. 0.6ohm Mesh Coil – Perfect for DTL (Direct to Lung) vapers and low nicotine strength. However, higher nic fluids can be used here.

You can also adjust the airflow and refill the pods from the top. Available in four colors: Classical Red, Bronze Blue, Carbon Black, and Gunmetal. Build Quality and Design A series of “doors” will appear that is open to access. Instructions are always printed on the back of the door.

The panel with the pattern also had a cellophane liner on it, so be sure to remove it. Device This is a very cute device. It’s just the right size, and the metal case is well-made. The Smoant Pasito is a lot thinner and taller than other similar pod devices. Box Pods Shootout L-R: Zeltu X, Lost Vape Orion Q, Smok Trinity Alpha, Smoant Pasito, and Geekvape Frenzy units have visible Smoant and Pasito branding on the front and the same pattern panel on the back.

There is a front present and a back. The panel is smooth and looks like a printed surface with a laminated coating. Apart from the panel pattern, the metallic blue paint on the body is lovely. Fire button, power control button, and USB-C port on one side. The keys have a “Record Groove” style circular texture pattern. Both buttons are nice and tactile, and responsive. The other side is simply smooth. Note, however, that the screw heads are exposed on both the sides and bottom. If you hate this, this might bother you! The legal logo shows the device’s base with a square pattern of vents.

Final review

Unfortunately, the Smoant Pasito isn’t perfect. Refilling seems to be an afterthought. I had to remove the drip tip but found that there wasn’t much room around the coil to fill the drip tip. The posthole design is ridiculous – every bobbin (no matter how clean it is to start with) looks like untied knitting.
