The newest item in one of the most well-liked brands of pod vapes is the UWELL Caliburn X. Since the Caliburn in 2019, UWELL has broken the line into smaller sub-lines with their unique qualities.
The G line provides more sophisticated alternatives, the KOKO line has a completely different form, and the A-line is geared toward newer vapers. There is a sense that a new line is introduced by the Caliburn X. We’ve never seen an OLED screen or complete wattage adjustable in a Caliburn before, but the X is a somewhat bigger device with those characteristics.
Additionally, it accepts larger pods and has a larger battery (850 mAh) than prior Caliburn devices (3 mL). The coils haven’t changed because the X is still compatible with the three Caliburn G coil types that are currently offered.
With dimensions of 107.4 mm, 27.5 mm, and 15.6 mm, the X appears to be defying expectations set by Caliburn. Although it is considerably thicker than the line’s earlier offerings, the vape is still small and light.
Design & Appearance
The Caliburn X is a small, sleek gadget with an aluminum alloy body that has a matte finish. The device’s front sports a tiny, glossy, capsule-shaped black panel that contains the screen immediately below the fire button at the top.
The fire button has a good tactile feel that distinguishes it from the rest of the device thanks to its diagonal striped pattern.
Along the side of the gadget is where you’ll locate the airflow adjustment switch. Like the fire button, the switch has a substance, but it is exceedingly loose and very easy to move.
Battery Life & Charging
The Uwell Caliburn X has a battery that is slightly larger than the G2’s (750mAh), with 850mAh. I was never without a gadget to use because it is much simpler to monitor your battery life with the new OLED screen.
The power on the Caliburn X has also been significantly raised to a maximum output of 20w, which is a modest but welcome improvement over the 18W on the G2. The X recharges just as quickly as the G2; I timed the process at 30 minutes from zero to full charge. Another benefit is that the gadget includes pass-through charging, allowing you to use it while it charges.
Performance
One mesh 0.8 G Coil and one mesh 1.2 G2 Coil are included with this gadget. The Caliburn X’s ventilation hole is so tiny that minor modifications barely affect anything. Although Uwell claims that this product has adjustable airflow, there is only truly one setting, which is open.
In conclusion, the G coils provide excellent all-around performance and a coil life of 20 to 25 ml.
